MoS2-based Nanostructures for Biomedical Applications

Recent years, MoS2-based structures have attracted significant attention in the biomedical field due to their unique characteristics and potential applications. Molybdenum diulfide is a naturally occurring substance and a well-known TMD (transition metal dichalcogenides) member. MoS2-based Nanostructures are a promising candidate for biomedical application due to their excellent biocompatibility.



Their potential use in cancer treatment is one of their most important advantages. Studies have shown MoS2-based molecular nanostructures are able to selectively target cancerous cells without harming healthy cells. This makes them an alternative to conventional chemotherapy drugs.
