VX Installation Type

This form is displayed when you select Install VX Software from the Installation Main Menu. Select the type of installation to perform.

VX Install Type Form

Minimal Installation

Select this option to perform the minimum installation.  Only the VX application files will be installed to the default directory.  No online help documentation will be installed.  A shortcut will be created and placed on your desktop.

Typical Installation

Select this option to perform a typical installation.  The VX application files and online help documentation will be installed to the default directory.  A shortcut will be created and placed on your desktop.

Custom Installation

Select this option to customize the installation.  The Install VX Components Form is displayed allowing you to select which VX components to install.  Advanced options are provided with this installation type.  WARNING: Make sure you read this installation guide carefully before performing a custom installation.
