Hole Callout Dimension (2D)
Insert (Drawing Sheet Level)
Use this command to create
one or more hole callout dimensions. First select the layout view and
then select the holes to add callouts to. The view that shows the true
view (i.e., the diameter) of the holes should be selected. The Hole
Table Format Editor is displayed.
The columns list indicates the hole attributes that will be included and their order in the callout. You can add or remove attributes as desired. For most cases, you can accept the default attributes listed and pick OK. Refer to the Hole Table for Layout View command for more about the editor. Hole callouts will conform to the currently active drawing standard (e.g., ANSI, ISO, DIN, JIS or GB).

This command supports hole attributes created during the Hole Feature command including the Callout Label attribute. Refer to the Hole Feature command for more information.
Certain attributes for callout labels may be set using the Dimension Attributes Form. They are: decimal places (diameters and angles), leader extension type and length.
Typical syntax
for threaded holes:
Dia (value only), +/-Dia Tol, -, TPU, standard hole type,
Depth (either THRU or depth symbol followed by value)
Typical syntax for regular holes:
Dia (symbol+value), +/-Dia Tol, Depth (THRU/symbol+value)
Counter bore/Sink Dia, Depth/Angle, etc.
Because a callout label is usually a concatenated collection of dimension values and other text strings, some dimension attribute changes will seem to have no effect if applied afterwards. Instead, the attributes should be set prior to the callout text generation.
A callout label is placed via two pre-defined points. A label may be relocated by double-clicking on it. The leader origin may be re-defined via the option menu like any other label dimensions.
