Dynamic Sectioning

Wireframe (Part Level)
Use this command to dynamically section the
active part or assembly. Completing this command will create section curves
in the active part and the active component in an assembly. It can also
be used as a visual aid to dynamically clip away portions of the part
to view features that might normally be hidden from view.
The required inputs include the section plane and offset distance. Optional inputs include multiple sections (copies at distance intervals) and using the section plane as the first copy.
Plane - Select a reference plane to section from. You can select a datum plane, planar face, the active view plane or a sketch.
Offset - Specify the offset distance from the reference plane. Positive values will offset in positive z axis of the datum plane or sketch or in the normal direction of a planar face.
Copies - Specify the total number of successive sections to create at the specified offset.
Use base as first copy - Check this box to use the plane to locate the first copy.
Name - You can specify a name for the section. Named sections can be used during the Insert Section View command at the Drawing Sheet Level.
