Use this command to create
an Ellipsoid QuickShape feature. You
can create a base feature or add, remove or intersect the ellipsoid with
the active part. This
command creates feature dimensions that can be edited as the design changes.

Optionally, you can align the feature with a datum plane or face. The command creates feature dimensions that can be edited as the design changes.

Select the feature type icon. For the Add, Remove and Intersect types, the topology of the active part will be altered by the feature created. The Base option is automatically selected if the active part has no shape geometry. A separate base feature will be created. Base features are used to define the initial basic shape of a part.
Center
Select the ellipsoid center point. You can drag the preview echo of the ellipsoid to locate the center point or right-click to select additional input options.
X length, Y length, Z length
Specify the length of the ellipsoid along the x, y and z axes. You can enter a value or an existing variable name directly into the text input field or right-click to reference an existing dimension value or expression.
Align plane
Select the optional alignment plane. By default,
the ellipsoid is aligned with the world x,y plane. You can select a datum
plane or face.
