Text Editor... (All Levels)
Use this form to create and edit ASCII text files such as VX macro files or point files for use with the Point Cloud Face from File and Import Points from File commands. File and Edit menus are available to load and save text files and perform Windows standard editing functions such as cut, copy, paste, etc. Search functions are also available.

Enter text in the text window using the text editing tools listed below or you can open a text file to edit.
Pick File > Save to save the text file if desired.

OK to close the form.
Load - Load a previously saved text file into the Text File Editor. Use the File Browser to select a file to load.
Save - Save the text currently displayed to a file. Use the File Browser to select a path and enter a file name to save to.
Cut - Removes selected text and adds it to the Windows clipboard.
Paste - Inserts the contents of the Windows clipboard at the current cursor location.
Copy - Copies selected text to the Windows clipboard.
Clear - Deletes all text currently displayed in the Text File Editor.
Find Previous - Search back to locate a text string. Enter the case sensitive text string to search for and then pick this button to find it.
Find Next - Search forward to locate a text string. Enter the case sensitive text string to search for and then pick this button to find it.
OK - Keeps the current text in the editor and closes the form. The text will stay in the editor during the active session but is not saved with the session. Use the Save option above to save the text to a file.
Cancel - Close the Text File Editor without accepting any changes to the text.
