PARTsolutions (Part
Level)
Use this command to open the PARTsolutions PARTviewer application for replacing a component in the active VX assembly with a PARTsolutions component. Note that in its current implementation, this command will not force a PARTsolutions assembly to adjust if one of its components are replaced.
For example, replacing a plate with one of a larger thickness will not force the remainder of the PARTsolutions assembly to adjust to the increased thickness. You must replace the entire assembly. Refer to the PARTsolutions documentation about using the PARTviewer application. A valid license of PARTsolutions is required to operate this command.
At the Part Level, pick PARTreplace from the PARTsolutions Menu.
Select the VX component to replace.
The PARTviewer application will be loaded with the selected component displayed.
In PARTviewer, select a new replacement component.
In PARTviewer, pick the
Export to CAD System icon 
PARTviewer will either collapse or exit depending on which icon is selected and the VX component will be replaced.
