What Does VX CAM Offer?

• CAM is integrated with VX Modeling. All the functionality of Modeling is available when using the CAM system and the look and feel is the same.
   

• The system is "object-oriented." The CAM Plan Manager represents logical data groupings such as tools and machines.
   

• Parametric tool motion and dependency management allow CAM plan strategies to adapt to changes in design or manufacturing specifications.
   

• Tool paths can be generated on combinations of wireframe, surface, and solid entities created with VX Modeling, Drafting, or imported from other CAD products using neutral formats such as IGES or other translators.
   

• CAM allows you to control and manage the manufacturing data required for NC machine components and tooling. This includes operation specifications, feeds and speeds, machine definitions, setups and tool paths.
   

• CAM analyzes geometry to create correct tool paths. It also provides the ability to manage and standardize your manufacturing processes.
   

• The CAM forms allow you to enter, verify and search for CAM data. The CAM Plan Manager is designed to graphically present information in clear, logically organized groups. This allows you to streamline input, archive, and reuse data. The intent is to allow you to create a reusable database containing the manufacturing information appropriate for your site.
   

• Full Undo and Redo operations are available on all manufacturing functions.
