Tool Path Verify Options
Tool Path Verify Form
(CAM Level)
Use this form to set options that control the tool path verification
displayed using the Tool Path Verify Form. This
form can be use to set the scope and tolerance and to filter the tool
path verification.
Frame - Controls whether the coordinates of the tool path will be displayed in the frame of the Setup (world ) or in the frame of the tool path. These two frames are identical, unless the user has created a local frame in the setup and selected that frame as a parameter for creating this tool path.
Tool Tolerance - Determines the accuracy to which the wireframe tool is drawn. If a small detail is being inspected, this tolerance can be decreased as needed.
Tool Color - Allows you to select a tool color other than green (the default). Options include having the tool color determined by the feed or speed mode, or to have no tool displayed (blank).
This filter will display only the cut motion types which meet the selected criteria. The motion types which may be selected are: Rapid, Retract, Return, Engage, Slotcut, Traversal, Cut, Approach, and Slowdown. In most 3 axis paths, by selecting only "Cut ", the approach and retract motions will not be shown, thus simplifying the display. This filter is persistent only through the current Tool path verify session.
This filter provides a mechanism for clipping the display of tool path motion to within the Z levels specified. Values may be inserted in both, or only one field. This is especially useful when inspecting complex 2 ½ axis tool paths.
Top Z - Clips the display at the top Z level specified.
Bottom Z - Clips the display at the bottom Z level specified.
OK - Activates the new options into effect and removes the form.
Apply - Activates the new options into effect, and leaves the form displayed.
Reset - Returns all fields in the form back to the system defaults.
