Use the Macro Manager to create and store preprogrammed
approach and retract motion sequences. These
can be created, recalled and applied to tool paths from each of the 2-1/2 axis, Rough Milling, 3 axis and 5 axis operation
definition forms. Complete
the form as desired.
You can use the check boxes
to search existing
objects (see note below). Additional
form options are also defined below.
Name - Displays the CAM Object Name List of the CAM macro objects that are currently defined. Select or create a macro from the list.
Class - Defines the class of the CAM macro object. Select Mill from the list. This parameter is optional.
Type - Defines the type of the active CAM macro object. Select Approach or Retract from the list. This parameter is optional.
Subtype - Defines the subtype of the active CAM macro object. Select Full, Partial, or Minor from the list. This parameter is optional.
Accept - Creates a CAM macro object with the specified information and displays the Edit CAM Macro Form. This form is used to define the Motion List (see below) for the macro. If no name is specified, a system generated name is created.
Reset - If a CAM macro object is already active, pick Reset to ensure that the form's contents show the current values for that macro. If no macro is active, the form's contents are set to the system defaults.
Clear - Clears the contents of the name input field to create a new CAM macro object. The previous macro is no longer active.
Delete - If a CAM macro object is active, pick the delete button to delete it. The active macro then defaults to the first macro in the sequence.
Used for browsing a sequence of CAM macro objects.

Activates the previous CAM macro object. The sequence number of the currently active macro is shown in browse field (e.g., #1 of 2). If there is only one macro, this key has no effect.

Activates the next CAM macro object. The sequence number of the currently active macro is shown in browse field (e.g., #1 of 2). If there is only one tactic, this key has no effect.
Lists the motions currently defined for the active CAM macro object . Motions are defined using the Edit CAM Macro Form. This form is displayed when the Accept button is picked.
