Import CAM Objects
Tools
Import Objects (CAM Level)
You can import a CAM object library that was exported from a VX CAM process plan using the CAM Export Objects command or from any CAM application that can output an ASCII delimitated SQL format text file. Supported file extensions include "*.txt" and "*.csv". The library will be imported directly into the active CAM process plan.
Select Tools > Import Objects. This will display the File Browser.
In the File Browser, select a file to import (e.g., tool_library_1.txt or tool_library_1.cvs).
Pick Open, from the File Browser to open the file and display its contents in the CAM Object Import Options Form.
If the CAM object class cannot be determined from the import file, select the CAM object class that you want to import and then pick OK to display the CAM Object Import Options Form and continue. You can import Machines, Tools or Speed/Feeds directly into the active CAM process plan.
