Angle (Part/CAM Level)
Use this command to measure the included angle
between two planes. They
can be datum planes or planar faces. You
can inquire distances within a part or among components within an assembly
or sub-assembly.
The
Variable option can be used to assign the queried angle to a variable
and log the variable to the active part's history. This
contributes to the "family-of-parts" functionality by allowing
the part to be driven during a history regen by variables derived from
queried distances and angles.
1st plane - Select the first plane.
2nd plane - Select the second plane or move the cursor over alternate planes. As they are highlighted, the included angle is dynamically updated in the Measure Angle Form.
Variable -Use this option to log a variable to the active part's history whose value equals the inquired angle. The variable can then be used in any expression, equation or VX macro.
