Edit Component Part

Tool Tab (Part Level)
This command activates an existing component
for editing (i.e., it becomes the active part). This is the same as right-clicking
on a component and selecting Edit Part.
A component
is an instance (reference) of a part. With this command, the source part
must resides in the active
file.
The Insert Component command allows you to insert components
from other files. Once a component is active, all commands apply to it.
To return to the component's parent part (i.e., to make it active), pick
the Go
up to Parent Object icon from the
Tool Bar.
Select a component to activate. You can right-click and select Browse to select options for browsing and showing components in the active file.
