Tags (Part/Sketch Level)
Use these commands to attach and delete attribute tags. Attribute tags attach additional information to entities such as a name or ID number. They are also used to indicate the inside of an open profile or the start of a curve or set of connected curves.
Create and attach a name attribute tag to an entity. If the entity already has a name tag, it will be replaced with the new tag. This command can be used to attach name tags to dimensions. If a dimension has a name tag, the name tag will be used as the driving dimension's name on the Part Attributes Form.

This command can also be executed when you <right-click>
on a Shape, Face, Edge, Curve or Point entity and select Name
Tag. You
can enter a new name tag or delete the existing name tag by <middle-clicking>
without entering a name.
Create an attribute tag and link it to a selected entity. The attribute symbol placed on the affected entity is the ID number. Select the entity and then specify a positive ID number.
Create an attribute tag that marks the inside of an open profile. The attribute symbol is an arrow pointing toward the inside of the profile. Select a point on the profile and then a point indicating the inside direction.
Create an attribute tag and attach it at the start of a curve or set of connected curves. After the tag is attached, the curve(s) will act as a curve chain with the tagged end being the start of the chain. The attribute symbol placed on the affected curve is the word "start_#." Select the curve near the end that starts the chain and then specify a chain number (positive number).
Delete a name attribute tag created by the Attach Name Tag command above. Select the entity that the name attribute tag is attached to.
Delete an attribute tag created by the Attach ID Tag command above. Select the entity that the ID attribute tag is attached to.
Delete an attribute tag created by the Attach Inside Tag command above. Select the inside attribute tag symbol to delete.
Delete an attribute tag created by the Attach Start Tag command above. Select the curve that the "start_#" attribute tag symbol is attached to.
