Refit Face

Edit Face Modify NURBS

Use this command to refit a face (i.e., modify the degrees of freedom).  This command modifies the base surface of the selected face.  The U and V parameter directions are displayed on the face.

 

1. Select the face to refit.

2. Select the parameter direction to modify (U-Dir, V-Dir or Both) or pick OK to accept the current default.

3. Specify the number of sample points for the parameter direction (U, V or Both) selected.

4. Specify the degree (1-6) in the parameter direction (U, V or Both) for fitting the face.

5. Enter a name for the feature. If you don't enter a name one will be assigned for you.

U=6 Degree 4, V=6 Degree 4
