Copy to 2D Clipboard (Ctrl+C)

Edit (Sketch/Sheet Level)

Use this command to make a copy of selected entities and add them to the clipboard. Entities in the clipboard are overwritten when new entities are cut or copied unless the save option is used.
This command also copies the current graphics window image to the Windows clipboard. If you then do a "Paste" operation inside a Microsoft application, the image is pasted inside the application window. If you use one of the VX "Paste" commands (e.g., Paste from 2D Clipboard or Paste Features from 3D Clipboard ), the geometry is pasted and the image is ignored.
Entities - Select the entities to copy to the clipboard.
Base point - Specify a reference point. This point will be used to paste the entities from the clipboard.
Clipboard - Use this option to save the current contents of the clipboard. Enter a name to save the clipboard as or pick the folder icon to select a previously saved clipboard using the Object Browser. The previous clipboard will be overwritten with the contents of the current clipboard.
When sketched Reference Geometry is copied to the clipboard all links to external geometry are broken and it becomes normal geometry.
