Dimensions Notes (Drawing Sheet Level)
Use
this command to create leader labels and balloon callouts. These types
of dimensions are useful for creating leader and balloon text pointing
to one or more drawing entities. You
can selec t
multiple base points and multiple leader arrows will originate from the
same balloon or leader text. Be
sure to review the Notes section
below.

This method creates a leader label dimension. |

Base Points - Select one or more points to locate where the leader arrow(s) will point to.
Location - Specify the location of the label text or balloon.
Text - Enter the dimension text. You can right-click and select Editor to use the Text and Dimension Editor.
Text Location
Select the icon to position the dimension
text. Here are the options from top to bottom:
Aligned Text
Aligned Text above Line
Centered Text
Centered Text above Line
Extender Type
Use this option to determine if a horizontal extender line should be applied and if so, a default length is supplied. It can be modified if desired.
Right-click and use the Editor Input Option to add special characters such as GD&T symbols, box text, and other symbols to the leader text using the Text and Dimension Editor.
