Use this command to create various types of
2D rectangles defining points. Center,
Corner, Center,
Corner and Center, Angle
methods are supported. Refer
to each method below. Optionally,
you can specify the height and width of all rectangles. Rectangles are
automatically constrained and dimensioned if the options are enabled on
the Sketch
Settings Form.
Use the Center
method to create a horizontal or vertical rectangle by defining its center
point and a diagonal point.
Select the center point.
Select a diagonal point.
Use the Corner method to create a horizontal
or vertical rectangle by defining two diagonal points.
Select the first diagonal point.
Select the second diagonal point.
Rectangle
(2D), Center, Corner Method

Corner method to create a rectangle by defining its center point,
a point along the first axis, and a diagonal point. This command can be
used to create an angled rectangle. The point along the first axis will
determine the angle.
Select the center point.
Specify the angle or select a point along the first axis.
Select a diagonal point or enter the height.
Rectangle
(2D), Corner, Angle Method
Use the Corner,
Angle method to create a rectangle by defining 3 corner points.
This command can be used to create an angled rectangle. The second corner
point determines the angle while the third determines the height.
Select the first corner point.
Select the second corner point (angle).
Select the third corner point
or enter the height.
