Ellipse (2D)Use this command to create various types of ellipses by defining points.  Center, Corner, Center Angle and Corner Angle methods are supported.  Refer to each method in the Required Inputs section below.  Ellipses are automatically constrained and dimensioned if the options are enabled on the  Sketch Settings Form.

Create Ellipse (Center, Diagonal Point)Use this method to create a horizontal or vertical ellipse by defining its center and a diagonal point of its boundary box.  You can adjust the height and width of the ellipse using the Optional Inputs (see below).

2 Points Method Ellipse (2D), Points Method

2 Points MethodUse this method to create a horizontal or vertical ellipse by defining the two diagonal points of its boundary box.  You can adjust the height and width of the ellipse using the Optional Inputs (see below).

Center, 2 Points Method Ellipse (2D), Center, 2 Points Method

Center, 2 Points MethodUse this method to create an ellipse by defining its center point, a point along the first axis (or enter angle), and a diagonal point of its boundary box. This command can be used to create an angled ellipse.  The point along the first axis will determine the angle.  You can adjust the height and width of the ellipse using the Optional Inputs (see below).

Ellipse (2D), 3 Points Method

3 Points MethodUse this method to create an ellipse by defining 3 corner points of its boundary box or an angle and two points. This command can be used to create an angled ellipse.  The second corner point determines the width and angle while the third determines the height.  You can adjust the height and width of the ellipse using the Optional Inputs (see below).
