Reduce Face Data

Edit Face Modify NURBS

Use this command to remove many surface imperfections by reducing the total number of control points and thus eliminating offending points. This command works well with IGES data imported from other CAD systems.
 

1. Select the face(s) to reduce. 

2. Enter the allowable deviation from the original geometry.
    

Control points will be removed until the allowable deviation is reached. Use the pick filter and input options when available.
