Regenerate Current Part

Tool Bar Icon (Part Level)

Use this command to regenerate the active part's history re-evaluating each feature. Any history related modifications such as changes to dimensions, equations, feature reordering, or deleting performed since the last regeneration will be incorporated into the active part.

This icon will turn green as a notification that the active part's history has been modified and that a regeneration is required.

1. If the part regenerates successfully, the following message is displayed in the message window. [There are no more steps to replay.]
   
   Or
    

2. If an error occurs during regeneration, select an option from the History Replay Error Menu to correct the problem.

• Pick Yes to save the active session before regenerating the part.

• Pick No to regenerate the active part without saving the active session.

• Pick Cancel to exit the command and close the form.
