Viewing Tools
Viewing tools allow you to manipulate the display or change the current view or how much is display in the current view. Of course display redraws and previous/next views are contained here. Also included are tools to blank geometry and to show more or less geometry. With the View Manager you can store and retrieve any view orientation. You can also use stored views to create 3D layout views on drawing sheets.

Use this command to redraw the current display without regenerating the active object.

Tumble (Part/Sketch
Level)
At the part level, this command makes the active view tumble until you press the <Escape> key or select any other command.

Use this command to return to the previous view in a series of views.

Use this command to return to the next view in a series of views.

Use this command to remove (blank) entities from the display. Blanking unused entities will decrease time required to perform many display intensive functions such as Shaded Display, Render the Display, and Hidden Line Display.This function is logged to the active part's history.

Use this command to display all entities that were hidden
by the Blank Entities command. This function
is logged to the active part's history.

Use this command to swap the visibility of all entities currently blanked with the Blank Entities command. This function is logged to the active part's history. At the part level, sketches, dimensions, and "combined" components associated with features are not unblanked by this command. Sketches and dimensions not yet associated with a feature are unblanked by this command.

Show Scope > Show All (Part/Sketch Level)
Use this command to add all levels of parent objects
and all of their children (components, sketches, etc.) located in the
active part to the display (e.g., they become visible). The top level
parent object must be loaded initially before Show All can display
all of the parents and children in the active part.

Level)
Use this command to display the active object with
all of its children (components, sketches, etc.). All other objects are
hidden from the display.

Show More (Part/Sketch Level)
Use this command to add the next level of parent
objects and all of their children in the active part (components, sketches,
etc.) to the display (i.e., they become visible). This command can be
used repeatedly to display additional levels of the history tree and will
stop at the top-level parent object of the active part.

Show Less (Part/Sketch Level)
Use this command to remove the current level of parent objects and all of their children (components, sketches, etc.) from the display (e.g., they become hidden). This command can be used repeatedly to remove additional levels of the history tree from the display and will stop at the active object.
The View
Manager is accessed from the VX Data Manager.
Select
this icon from the Tool
Bar and then select the View Manager tab. Use
it to manage stored views. Views can be stored, activated, renamed, deleted
or inquired. Stored views can be inserted as standard
layout views at the Drawing Sheet Level. 
You can display a stored view in one of two ways. You can double-left-click it from the View Manager to display it or select it and then pick the Activate button.
You can also right-click on a stored view in the list and select an option from the Object Editor Menu.
View Manager
New - Pick New and enter a name for the stored view or middle-click to accept a default name. The currently displayed view will be stored. Use the Store current layer visibility option if desired. Layer visibility will be restored when the view activated or when the view is inserted onto a drawing sheet. The default names are View1, View2, View3, etc. Make sure that none of your current views are using these names.
Activate - Displays the stored that is currently selected. If more than one view is selected, the first selected view in the list is displayed.
Rename - Renames the stored view that is currently selected. Enter a new name for the view.
Delete - Deletes all selected views. Deleted views can be recovered by selecting the Undo icon from the Utility Tool Bar.
Inquire - Displays the Entity Browser with information about the selected view.
Delete All - Deletes all stored views.
Unpick All - Unselects all selected views.
Dismiss - Closes theView Manager.

Save layers - Use this
option during the New option of the View Manager to save the current layer
visibility with the stored view. An attempt will be made to set the layer
visibility according to the stored settings when the view is activated.
Views can be stored, activated, renamed, deleted or inquired. Stored views
can be inserted as standard layout views at the
Drawing Sheet Level.
Pick Yes or No to store the current layer visibility
with the view.
Notes
Using
the (Ctrl) and (Shift) Keys for Selection - When you select an item
from the scrolling list, the text font will change indicating that it
has been selected. As multiple items are selected, they are added to a
"pick list." The pick list can be processed by the various options
on this form. You can use the (Shift) key to select blocks of items. (Shift)+(Left-click)
will select all items between the picked item and the first item on the
active pick list -- all other items are unpicked. You can use (Ctrl)+(Left-click)
to unpick an item from the active pick list.
