Delete Session

 

Invoked ByFile go to Manage Session go to Delete Session

 

Use this command to delete a session and all of the session's fie edits.  Once a session has been deleted, its files edits cannot be restored unless they have been previously saved during the Save Session As command.

 

Tips & TechniquesThis is an advanced session management function.  It is only available when the Enable session management option on the VX Configuration Form is set to Yes.  It is recommended that you become familiar with basic VX operations before using the advanced session management features.

 

Proceed with Caution!CAUTION: Since sessions only contain incremental edits to files, only those edits made since the last Save File, Save All Files, or Save Session As are deleted.  If the files are new to the session and none of these save commands or the Backup Session command mentioned above were performed, then the files will no longer exist anywhere.

 

  1. In the input field of the Sessions List (not shown) enter the name of the session to delete or select a session from the list.

  1. Pick OK to delete the session or Cancel to close the list.

  2. If you picked OK, pick Yes or No to confirm that the session should be deleted.
