Clear Session 

 

Invoked ByFile go to Manage Session go to Clear Session

 

Use this command to clear (delete) all file edits in the active session.  Once a session has been cleared, its file edits no longer exist and cannot be saved using the Save File or Save All Files commands.  The file edits can only be recovered if the Backup Session or Save Session As commands were performed prior to when the session was cleared.

 

Tips & TechniquesThis is an advanced session management function.  It is only available when the Enable session management option on the VX Configuration Form is set to Yes.  It is recommended that you become familiar with basic VX operations before using the advanced session management features.

 

Proceed with Caution!CAUTION: Since sessions only contain incremental edits to files, only those edits made since the last Save File, Save All Files, or Save Session As are deleted.  If the files are new to the session and none of these save commands or the Backup Session command mentioned above were performed, then the files will no longer exist anywhere.
