Save Session As

 

Invoked ByFile go to Manage Session go to Save Session As

 

Use this command to create a new session that contains the file edits of the active session.  Only modifications to the files are saved, thus the file edits only contain the sub-objects that have been edited.  They are not a complete copy of the original files.

 

Tips & TechniquesThis is an advanced session management function.  It is only available when the Enable session management option on the VX Configuration Form is set to Yes.  It is recommended that you become familiar with basic VX operations before using the advanced session management features.

 

  1. In the input field of the Sessions List (not shown) enter a new name to save the session as.

 

See VX Note.An error message will be displayed if you attempt to save the session with the name of an existing session.

 

  1. Pick OK to save the session with the new name or Cancel to close the list.
