Create a Feature Component
Various Feature Commands
This is not a command. It
is a process incorporated into many commands that allows you to quickly
create a component and use to create a base feature. The
current command is suspended while the component is created and then continues
using the new component as input.
When the
command prompt says "... or press <Enter> to start a new component."
middle-click.
The new component will be created at the world origin (0,0,0), added
to the active part, and activated for editing.
Create the component geometry
and pick Go up to Parent Object 
from the Tool Bar. This
will return to the component's parent part and resume the current command.
