Tool Bar, Tool Tabs and Control Keys
Control Keys have been preprogrammed to provide easy execution of a variety of commands. Many execute functions located on the Utility Tool Bars. They are located (by default) across the top of the display just below the Pull Down Menus.
Tool bar hints will correspond to their pull down menu counterparts. Tool Tabs are also available. See below for more information. All tool bars and tool tabs can be moved and docked for your convenience.
The tool bars available at any given time will vary based on the level of VX that is currently active. The table below lists all available control key combinations and Tool Bar icons.

(Select a Tool Tab)
Relevant commands are available from Tool
Tabs located along the right side of the display. The
location is user-defined using the VX Configuration
Form. They
are also dockable panels that can
be dragged to any location using the handles provided. The
default Tool Bar will change depending on the VX level
that is currently active (e.g., Part, Sketch,
Drawing Sheet or CAM).
Select a tab to display a set of tools. Left-click
a top icon to select it. If an icon has an indicator
to
the right, right-click to display an additional submenu. When
you select an icon it becomes the new default menu icon. The
figure below illustrate this functionality. Each
Tool Tab is configured to provide some (but not all) of the available
tools for a given application (e.g., features, surfacing, mold design,
assembly, etc.). Additional
commands are available from the pull
down menus.
