Attach Feature Suppress Condition

Invoked ByEdit go to History Operations go to Suppression

Use this command to attach a variable or expression to a feature.  When the history is regenerated, if the expression is TRUE (a non-zero value), the feature is suppressed.  Otherwise, it is unsuppressed.  Expressions for conditional suppression can be removed from features by pressing <Enter> with no input when prompted to enter an expression.

This command is another building block for the "family-of-parts" functionality. If the expression cannot be evaluated because a variable doesn't exist or some other error occurred, the feature is unsuppressed.  The expression (i.e., string object) attached to a feature is printed at the end of the information displayed by Inquire Entity Information command.

  1. Select the features for conditional suppression.

  2. Enter the expression that will conditionally suppress the features or middle-click to remove an existing expression from the features.  You can use the Browse option to select a variable as the expression (e.g., var1=100).

Optional Inputs are documented here.Optional Inputs

Browse

Use this option to display a browser specific to the type of input being requested.  For example, if an expression is being requested, the Variable Browser is displayed.   Selecting a variable from the browser will enter the expression expressed by the variable (e.g., var1=100).  If a file name is requested, the File Browser is displayed, etc.
