Critical
Point Indicators
Coordinates of critical points are displayed graphically on the part while Operation Definition Forms are displayed. This serves as a visual indicator as to which critical points are to be used.
The Operation definition parameters that will display graphical points are Top, Bottom, Control, Start, Home, Synchronize and Pre-drill. You may key in specific Z values for top and bottom values, or coordinate triplets for any of these point types. You may also select one point or multiple points (as in pre-drill or start points).
When an Operation's Definition parameter form is opened, the display is refreshed and critical points are displayed on the graphics screen. Each point is labeled with its use in the Opdef form (Top, Bottom, ...) and its coordinates IN THE FRAME LISTED FOR THAT OPERATION DEFINITION. In the case of Top or Bottom points, only the Z value is displayed.
When the Parameter form is removed, the display is refreshed and the points and annotations are no longer presented. If you modify the frame or any of these critical points, you can see the updates by pressing F5 for a quick Redraw.
