Projected axis:

The "projected axis" mode allows you to create axis (on an automatic or manual way) using the geometry of the 3D document shapes.

The  AUTOMATIC  button allows to create automatically the axis for revolved, cylindrical and conic shapes. You can define a minimum and maximum radius value for the axis creation using the  MINIMUM RADIUS  and  MAXIMUM RADIUS  button.
