The punctual influence allows to confine the modifications near the considered extremity.

The distributed influence allows to modify several control points, on a sliding scale way. This method is recommended when there is a large number of control points, in order to avoid a too strong variation of the curve.

When the action is distributed, an influence distance is asked. It is measured on the control polygon in order to know which points will be modified.
