Menu access: Curve | Other curves | Tangent comb
Description:
Allows you to create a curve on the end of a virtual tangent surface to a face. This curve is positioned relatively to a curve at a given distance.

General philosophy:
Choose the Reference curve= CURVE mode.
Select the reference face.
Set the distance from the reference element.
Select the reference curve.
Available Option(s) :
The list
allows you
to choose tangency direction:
PERPENDICULAR
TO CURVE : the tangent comb is parallel to the curve and tangent
to the face.![]()
ISOPARAMETRIC
U ou V : the isoparametric selected is used as propagation direction
of the tangent comb.![]()
You can modify the creation
distance of the tangent comb.
Example(s):

Specific point(s):
It is not necessary for the
curve to be exactly on the surface.
It's possible to select
a boundary edge as reference curve.
Available modification(s):
Using the
icon,
you can:
Invert the direction.
Show the tangents
Modify the creation distance of the tangent comb
