Spline link
Menu access: Curve | Spline link
Description:
Allows you to link two close curves by transforming them into a single B-Spline curve.
![]()
General philosophy:
Select the first curve.
Select the second curve.
Valid the creation of the curve with OK .
Available Option(s) :
The connecting
tolerance allows you to set the maximum distance between the two
consecutive extremities to link.
The
angular tolerance allows you to set the maximum angle between the
two consecutive curves to link

You can hide the original curves
by using the Hide
tools= YES or
NO
option.
You can set the precision
of the follow of the initial curves with the appriximation
tolerance option.
Specific point(s):
Difference between "sewing" and "spline link":
The sewing link several curves together, but the topology of each portion is kept. The result is a composite curve made of the sewed elements.
The spline link build a B-Spline above the selected elements. The topology of the original curves is not kept in the result.
