Smooth - Tolerance

Menu access: Curve | Smooth

Description:

Allows you to smooth a curve with a given angular and linear  tolerance.

General philosophy:

1. Click on the button  TOLERANCE

2. Select the curve to smooth.

3. Give the tolerance you want.

Available option(s):

The linear tolerance represent the maximum distance on any point between the original curve and the smooth curve.

Angular tolerance: the function will smooth all the angle lower than the given value. The following illustration shows the angle used on the curve.

Specific point(s):

The number of segment resulting from the operation are indicated in the alpha bar.
