Sew
See also: sew non-associative
Menu access: Curve | Other operations | Sew
Description:
Allows you to sew curves with a specific tolerance.
![]()
General philosophy:
Select the curves to sew.
Set the sewing option of the dialog box and confirm.
Choose the tolerance and confirm with OK .
Available Option(s) :

The option "Hide
curves" allows you to hide or not the initial curves.
The option "Adjust
geometry" allows you to project the sewing result on a plane
you select. This can be useful for example, if you need to be
sure of the planeness of the resulting curves.
The gaps between two extremities
can be filled either by extending the curves or adding lines in the gap
but also by adjusting the curve geometry ( For example, the extremity
of an original line will be move to the extremity of an other line before
the sewing)
If you set markers at the ends, small
circles are added at the extremities of the resulting curves.
The tolerance value defines at the
same time:
the maximum distance between two end points from distinct curves to sew together.
the acceptance tolerance of curves when the adjust plane option is chosen.
Specific point(s):
Curves must be open.
