Polar line
Menu access: Curve | Other curves | Lines | Polar line.
Description:
Creation of a polar line define by its length, an angle with a given direction and a starting point.
This kind of line ca also be drawn by using the function Curve | Line
General philosophy:
Give the angle value.
Give the length of the line.
Select the insertion point of the line.
Available Option(s) :
You can change the reference direction
(by default, the X axis of the current coordinate system) by using the
DIRECTION
DE REFERENCE button.
You can use the CHANGE
TO HORIZONTAL /
CHANGE
TO VERTICAL button
to quickly change the angle of the polar line with the reference direction
(0° or 90°).
The option Alignment=
NORMAL /
CENTERED
allows
you to choose to position of the polar line according to the insertion
point.
