Fillet
Menu access: Curve | Fillet
Description:
Allows you to create fillets on vertices of a contour.
![]()
General philosophy:
Enter the fillet radius.
Select the contour near the vertex to fillet.
Available Option(s) :
The Mode=
GLOBAL or
LOCAL
option
allows you to create the same fillet on all contour vertices within a
single operation or only on the selected vertex.![]()
The RADIUS
INTER/EXTER button
allows you to create fillet on a closed
curve by using two radius values: a radius for external angle and
an other one for internal angle.![]()
Example(s):

Specific point(s):
All fillets with same radius created
together will share the same parameter. It means that if you modify one
of these radiuses, all will be modified. It is the same for the ones created
using the global mode. But using the "modify parameter" function
you will also be to modify them globally or locally.
You can create several fillet using
different parameters on a same curve before using the COMPUTE
FILLET(S) button.
You can create a
fillet integrated in a contour by using
and click near a contour edge.(idem for chamfer).
Available modification(s):
By using the
icon afterwards, you can:
Change the radius of a fillet.
Extract fillet from a curve - in global mode (all the fillet that share the same parameter are extracted)
- local mode (only the selected fillet is extracted).
