Convert texts
Menu access : Curve | Manage | Convert texts
Description :
The outline of each letter of the text is converted into a group of composite curves
General philosophy :
Select the text to convert.
Specific point(s) :
The button SUBSTITUTION
allows
to access to the old conversion mode (TopSolid V6.7). Each letter is replaced
by simple composite curve without taking in account the font used.
You can choose to set the reference
text visible or not after the operation through the option Text
= INVISIBLE or VISIBLE .
The option Mirror
effect = YES or NO allows to turn over
the resulting curves. This is useful for example for the texts on a mould.

Modify the reference text (font, size, text...)
Apply or remove the mirror effect.
