C_Spline curve
Menu access: Curve | Other curves | C-spline
Description:
Creates a C-spline going through the points you define.
This curve is only made of lines and arcs.
General philosophy:
Select the curve starting point.
Select the different passing points.
Select on the STOP OPEN or STOP CLOSED button according to the result you want.
Available Option(s) :
You can choose the type of each vertex
of the curve:
Automatic: TopSolid starts the curve on a corner condition, apply smooth on intermediate points and finish on a corner condition.
Corner:
no tangency condition,
Tangent:
The created curve is tangent on this point,
Smooth:
The created curve is tangent on this point and the curves are arcs of
circle,
The button SCATTERED
POINTS allows
you to automatically draw a C-spline curve (curve made of lines and arcs)
through
a selection of points. You will find in this option the same functionality
than in the function "B-Spline from
scattered points" (classic curve)

Using the icon

you can access to the following modifications:
Closed= YES or NO : equal to the STOP OPEN or STOP CLOSED options.
Show control points= YES or NO .
New type= . . . . . . . . that allows to change the type of the corner near the selected arc.
