Curve by expressions
Menu access : Curve | Other curves | By expressions
Description :
Allows you to draw a curve through an equations system.
![]()
General philosophy :
Select the origin point of your curve.
In the following dialog box, define your equations along each axis and the parameters you wish.

Available Option(s) :
The variable is the parameter "t".
It is defined in the "Parameter" rubric.
The equation must be written in the
Cartesian form: x , y and z according to t.
You can set the origin of the current
coordinate system as the origin of your curve with the ORIGIN COORDINATE SYSTEM
button.
Specific point(s):
Used axis are the axis of
the current coordinate system.
Don't forget to always indicate
the value unit in all expressions except for the parameter "t"
where units mustn't be indicated.
