Description:
Automatically creates a spline curve through a selection of points.
![]()
General philosophy:
Select all the
points you want to use (you can use the icon
to make the
selection easier).
Select the first point.
Select the last point if you want an open curve or click on the OK button to get a closed curve.
Available option(s):
The button ALL
POINTS allows
you to select all the points contained in the document at once.
You can use the option Result=
to
get one or several curves from the selected points.
Result= ONE CURVE
In this mode, all the selected point will create a single curve.
The cell
represent the value
under which 2 points are considered as superposed and so only one will
be taken in consideration.
Result= SEVERAL CURVES
In this mode, the selected point will create several curves.
The cell
represent the distance
maximum between to points of the same curve. If the next point is further
than this distance, a new curve will be started from this point.
In this mode, you can as well choose if you want closed or open curves by using the option Mode= OPEN or CLOSED .
Specific point(s):
In this function, if you get the
message "Radius too small.", it means that there is an isolated
point according to the maximum distance.
Thanks to the function "Edit | Insert", you can dynamically
insert a knot or a point into
a basic b-spline.
Insert= POINT allows to insert a new point and modify the b-spline geometry.
Insert= KNOT allows to insert a new point without modifying the actual b-spline geometry.
