This area allows you to create your filters.

For that, double-click under the "Filter name" column to give a name to the filter. Then, select the filter type into the pull-down menu. It can be :

• No type

• By type

• By element

• By size

The description menu is automatically filled by TopSolid. It contains informations about the settings of your filter.

To activate a filter, you have to check the corresponding box (you ca, use several filters for the same view).

You can delete an existing view. Select its line and use the delete key of the keyboard.

This area allows you to set your filter.

lPart exclusion : select the exception type of parts include in your filter (no exception, no excluded or excluded).

lSmooth edges/hidden lines : you can set the line type of the smooth edges and the hidden lines of the filter parts.

lColor : you can set the color of elements of filter parts. The opposite buttons symbolize the original color. To set the color, select the button of the element to change and select a color in the proposed palette.

lCut part : parts of the view crossed by a cutting curve can not to be cut by this setting (no exception, cut or not cut).

l BY TYPE filter :

Select in this area all the elements to consider for the filter.

The elements are proposed by TopSolid according to the selected elements for the projection.

l Activate boxes of the elements type to take into account.

l You can take into account the opposite of the selected types activating "All elements except ..."

l BY ELEMENT filter :

You can directly select 3D elements to take into account in the filter.

For that, you have to open your documents (2D and 3D) in tile vertically. Before to select elements, left-click into the "Selected elements" area to activate the selection and then select the elements to take into account in the 3D.

To remove an element of the selection, you have to select it again in the 3D.

l You can take into account the opposite of the selected elements activating "All elements except ..."

l BY SIZE filter :

The "by size" selection allows to take into account for the filter all the elements whose the enclosing box is bigger than the minimum box size.

In the opposite case, all the elements whose the enclosing box is bigger than 50mm will be take into account.
