View along direction

Menu access : View | View along direction.

Description:

Allows to create a view along a specific direction.

General philosophy :

1. Pick the reference view.

2. Choose the reference line for the direction.

3. Valid and then locate the view.

Available option(s):

You can change the way in which the view will be created according to the chosen direction with the option  Mode= PERPENDICULAR TO DIRECTION  or  ALONG DIRECTION .

The button  INVERT  allows to change the projection direction (indicated by the red arrow).

You can choose smooth edges and hidden edges representation with the list :

If the document contains only one view, the selection of the reference view is not required.

Available modification(s):

With the icon , you can:

• move the arrow by selecting it,

• modify the title and its position around the view by selecting the title,

• modify the other parameters by selecting the view.

Use the View | Modify alignment to locate the view wherever you want in your drawing.
