Menu access : View | Interrupted view
Description :
Allows you to create an interruption on a view.
![]()
General philosophy :
Select the view you want to interrupt
Choose the reference direction fort the two parts :
Reference direction= X
Reference direction= Y
Choose the trimming curve geometry :
: curve already built in the view.
LINE between two points.
B-SPLINE by interpolation between several points.
Choose the position of the second curve (which moves according to the chosen reference direction).
Then, you can :
STOP : confirm.
Or interrupt the view on a second (or more) place.
Available option(s):
The button LIKE
AN INTERRUPTED VIEW allows
you to interrupt a view the same way than an other one.
This is only possible between a main
view and one of its auxiliary view. (impossible between 2 main views or
between 2 auxiliary views).
Example(s) :
|
Interrupted view according to X |
Interrupted view according to Y |
|
|
|
Specific point(s) :
If the document contains only one
view, the selection of the reference view is not required.
You can use this function only once
on the same view. If you want to interrupt the view on several places,
you must do it in one time without
leaving the function.
The trimming curves must
not be tangent with a line of the view (using the B-SPLINE can
help you getting round this problem).
![]()
The dimensions must
be created after the view has been folded.
![]()
Interrupted views
and detail views cannot take the "shading view" mode
Available modification(s):
With the icon
, you
can modify the projection parameters of the view.
Use the function View | Fold/Unfold to swap between the
interrupted view and the original view.
