2D view

Menu access : View | 2D view

Description :

Allows you to create a 2D view to begin a drafting document.

General philosophy :

1. Modify the scale view if needed.

2. Position the view

Available option(s):

The button  AUXILIARY VIEW  allows you to make auxiliary views which will follow the alignment and scale of the 2D view.

Specific point(s) :

For 2D free design, it's essential to create 2D view.

If the user starts directly a drafting document in the drawing border, some problems will appears:

•  losing of the drawing scale.

•  No positioning dependence between views

•  Impossible to use the store as and copy/paste functions.

  Available modification(s):

Using the icon , you can:

modify the coordinate system parameters,

modify the size of the grid.
