Description :

Allows you to quickly dimension a segment

General philosophy:

1. Click on the segment

2. Position the dimension.

Available option(s):

You can define orientation with Orientation=HORIZONTAL, VERTICAL, PARALLEL or FREE.

You can choose another direction than the ones above:

1. Select DIRECTION.

2. Select a line or two points to define your own direction.

 If you define your own direction, the orientation button will become FIXED DIRECTION.

The button  POINT allows you to create and select a point which has not been created yet.

You can get directly the angular dimension with X axis by using ANGLE WITH X AXIS.

You can get directly the angular dimension with Y axis by using ANGLE WITH Y AXIS.

Specific point(s):

The ANGLE WITH DIRECTION button allows to select any direction as reference direction.

 To quickly dimension the distance between two circle centers, simply select the first then the second. All options presented above are valid.
