In the "Liberties" rubric, you can define the direction that the part can have onto the support.

The definition of the direction is done according to the horizontal axis of the part (shown by the red arrow into the preview windows on the dialog box). The vertical axis is the direction perpendicular with the horizontal axis in the part plane.

Rotations: it is possible to give rotation step and a angle values range for this rotation. the angle measurement is done from the horizontal axis.

Symmetries: In the case both side of the support are identical ( not any coating on a face or else...), it is possible to enable to apply a symmetry to the part according to it vertical axis.
