Menu access : Tools | Light

or:  Image | Light (TopSolid/Image module)

Description :

Allows to add or modify light sources.

General philosophy :

1. Select the light type to create thanks to the  Type = ...  menu .

2. Specify if the light is  Associative  or not.

3. Give a name to the new light.

4. Validate with the  OK  button.

Available option(s) :

The  MODIFICATION BOX  button opens the Lights definition box.

Specific point(s) :

Lights are data base elements. You can repeat, group them, ...

An associative light can be positioned on a point and follow the modifications of this one.

The name of the light must not have space.

Lights are grouped into the lights set. You can edit it in the construction tree. For that, open the construction tree, choose Edit in the contextual menu and select "SET LIGHTS".

To remove a light, use the Edit | Delete function and then select the light into the document. It is also possible to delete a lights from the construction tree thanks to the contextual menu of the selected light.

The Image | Light function opens the Light definition box. To create a light, you have to use the Tools | Light function.
