Barycenter point

Description :

Allows to create a barycenter point.

General philosophy :

You create a barycenter point by selecting the elements to consider in the computation. It can be shapes and/or points.

You can choose of selecting:

• Only shapes - then the barycenter will take into account the mass of the shapes

• Only points - The barycenter is the points isobarycenter.

• Points and shapes - The barycenter is the points and shape centers of gravity isobarycenter.

Specific point(s) :

You can manually modify the mass of each part or point by editing the barycenter point in the symbolic tree.

If calculation time is long, you can basify the barycenter point after its creation. So, if you move a component in the assembly file, the barycenter point will not be automatically recalculated.
