Analyze unstamping result
Menu access : Sheet metal | Unstamping | Analyze unstamping result
Description :
Allows to get information about sheet metal thicknesses, thickness variations (thinning) or plastic strains resulting from the stamping operation.
![]()
General philosophy :
In the drop down list Visualize= . . . . . , select the information you need.
Select the curve (or shape) resulting from the function "Unstamping".
A meshed surface is created with colors variations to indicates the values variation of the selected information.
Available option(s):
The drop down list Visualize=
.
. . . . . . allows
you to select the information you want to visualize:
THICKNESSES: displays on the meshed surface a color scale that represent the thicknesses of the sheet metal part. The maxi and mini values are indicated on the surface.
THINNING: displays on the meshed surface a color scale that represent the thickness variation of the sheet metal part. The maxi and mini values are indicated on the surface.
PLASTIC STRAINS: displays on the meshed surface a color scale that represent the plastic strain on the sheet metal part. The maxi and mini values are indicated on the surface.
The drop down list Creation
mode= .
. . . . . . allows
you to define the durability of the analyze result:
TEMPORARY: when the function is ended, the meshed surface is automatically deleted.
PERMANENT: when the function is ended, the meshed surface remains in the document. So it is still available for measurement or modifications.
When the curve (or shape) to analyze
is selected, it becomes invisible to let the mesh surface appear. The
option Re
display reference part after analysis= .
. . . . . allows
to set back the curve (or shape) visible when the function is ended.
The button ANALYZE
VALUES allows
to display in the alpha bar the value of the selected mesh on the surface.
